MoYouJi Privacy Policy

MoYouJi is a fuel-logging and maintenance-reminder tool for motorcycle riders. Our principle: we collect only the minimum data needed to provide the features, we do no advertising tracking, and we never sell or share your personal information with third parties.

1. What we collect

• Account information: when you sign up with email, we collect your email address and password. Passwords are stored one-way encrypted (PBKDF2 with salt) — we cannot see your plaintext password. When you use “Sign in with Apple”, we receive the user identifier Apple provides plus whichever email you choose to share (which may be an Apple private relay address); we never touch your Apple ID password. Guest mode generates only a random device-linked identifier and collects no contact details.
• What you record yourself: vehicle details (model, tank capacity, odometer reading), fuel entries (time, volume, unit price), maintenance records, and reminder settings. This data is stored on our servers to support cross-device sync and fuel-consumption statistics.
• Subscription status: if you subscribe to MoYouJi Pro, we record the activation and expiry state of the subscription in order to unlock Pro features. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we never touch any of your payment information (card numbers, Apple ID password, and so on).

2. What we do not collect

• No location, contacts, photos, microphone, or other sensitive permission data;
• No third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and no device advertising identifier (IDFA);
• No user profiling or ad targeting based on your data, and no cross-app tracking.

3. How the information is used

Your data is used only to: (1) provide the app's core logging, statistics, and reminder features; (2) sign you in and authenticate requests; (3) verify Pro subscription entitlements. Maintenance and document reminders use iOS local notifications scheduled on your own device — they do not go through server push.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored on servers located in mainland China, and all transmission is encrypted over HTTPS. Your sign-in credential is kept in the system Keychain on your device and does not migrate to other devices through backups.

5. Account deletion and data removal

You can delete your account at any time from “Profile → Delete Account” in the app. Deletion immediately and permanently removes your account together with all vehicle, fuel, maintenance, and reminder data, with no way to recover it; the email address can afterwards be registered again as a brand-new account. 6. Minors

This app is intended for users licensed to ride a motor vehicle. It is not designed for children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and revise the effective date. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
